1. Can I use Conference without a hearing instrument?
No.
2. In what situations can Conference help people with a hearing instrument?
- In environments with a lot of background noise it is recommendable to pick up speech closer to the sound source, than what is possible using only the hearing instrument.
- Example: In a smaller meeting, place Conference on the conference table and the two built-in microphones will pick up the speech.
3. Battery life?
Approx. 100 hours using 4 alkaline AA batteries.
4. What kind of accessories are available?
Go to the link "Accessories to Conference".
5. Can I change amplification and frequency response?
- Use the volume control of the neck loop to adjust the amplification.
- Frequency response can not be changed.
6. Is Conference easy to use?
Yes, when Conference is on, just put the neck loop on.
7. How does the built-in loop work?
The microphones pick up the sound. The sound is amplified and is sent into the loop as a current. The current in the loop emits a magnetic field that is caught by the telecoil in the hearing instrument, which will transform it into sound again.
8. Why use Conference instead of Companion?
- The amplifier in Conference is a bit more powerful.
- Some people prefer Conference because it is built into an elegant folder.
