GN ReSound ALD Division: Lynx alert system

Lynx is a complete line of innovative alert products serving the needs of the hearing impaired. Unique to the Lynx system is the ease of use. It allows people of all ages with impaired hearing to live an even more enriching and carefree life. The Lynx alert system consists of modern and dependable products developed with diverse needs in mind. Each product is designed to fulfill a specific function as effectively as possible. Some products do their job unobtrusively in the background while others are more visible. All of our products are made to the highest standards of durability and attractive design.

Lynx uses various transmitters and receivers that alert the user to noises such as a ringing telephone or doorbell, or the first signs of a fire.

Transmitters:
There are six different transmitters to choose from, each designed for a specific purpose.
Lynx Audio Detector is sound responsive. Microphones should be placed at the sound source. Perfect for intercoms.
Lynx Baby Alarm responds to sounds from the nursery.
Lynx Door Transmitter looks like a normal doorbell. Sends a wireless signal, and can also be coupled with the existing doorbell.
Lynx Smoke Detector provides a strong emergency signal, and also sends wireless alerts to the receiver.
Lynx Telephone Transmitter is connected by adapter to the telephone jack. Sends an alert when the telephone rings.
Lynx TX-1 is a universal transmitter that can detect and send many different types of signals, for example telephone, doorbell, fire alarm, active photo cells or magnetic contacts.

Receivers:
There are three different receivers to choose from, two of them alerting with vibrations and one with flashing signals.
Lynx MiniVib is our latest and most unique receiver that can be used when and where required, for example around the wrist, arm or ankle. It alerts with vibrations and lighted diodes.
Lynx Tactum is an elegant wrist watch with a built in receiver. Provides different vibrations and symbols in response to various events.
Lynx Flash alerts the user through powerful various flashing signals for different events.

Repeater:
Lynx Repeater is both a transmitter and a receiver. It is used to increase the range between transmitters and receivers.

Alarm Clock:
Lynx Vibranett Alarm Clock alerts the user with both sound and an under-pillow vibrator.
