Prize for the best school system

In October 2007, the Swedish Audiological Society (Audiologiska Sällskapet) awarded the prize "Guldmikrofonen" to GN ReSound for our school system modeX, which is now available on the market. The competition took place in Örebro during the Swedish Audiological Day (Svenska Audiologiska Dagen - SAS). The winner was selected by a jury appointed by the board of the Swedish Audiological Society.

Now GN ReSound is launching a new wireless school system!

We think that everyone should have the same chance to show their capacity. Therefore we have developed modeX. It is a communication system for school classes where one or several students have a hearing loss. The system is based on individual wireless microphones that are easy to handle, stylish and user-friendly. The frequency range is extremely broad, and you choose yourself the frequency which best suits your needs, without limitations. Furthermore, the technique is compatible with our previous wireless school system Transett 904 and corresponding systems from other suppliers.

Transmitters:
There are two types of microphones with transmitters:
modeX Student: This transmitter is used by the students and has a springloaded button which is held down while speaking.
modeX Teacher: Used by the teacher. The On/Off button is pressed down once in order to switch on/off the microphone.

Receiver:
modeX Receiver: A fixed radio receiver which is aimed for use in e.g. classrooms.
